    We want each Valor Board to be a reflection of the person who proudly displays their challenge coins on it. Our simple process for including custom logos makes it easy to personalize your Valor Board completely. Simply upload your logo, in any format, and we will convert your logo and get it ready for engraving. Include any text and special requests such as a thin blue line stripe. Every challenge coin is unique and we think every challenge coin holder should be too.

    We select the best looking maple hardwood for our Valor Boards, the same premium woods that we use in our bespoke custom furniture. The result is a personalized work of art that looks great wherever you display it, whether it's in an office or hanging on your wall.

    Every Valor Board includes a maple stand that easily attaches to the back as well as gallery-style mounting hardware pre-installed. We make it easy for you to put your Valor Board on display as soon as you get it.

We apply the same principals that separate our furniture to our Valor Boards. That means we only source and use premium hardwoods, we create our Valor Boards to last for generations, and we care about the minor details and aesthetics. We finish our Valor Boards with industrial level clear coats that perfectly match the subdued look of the board, while highlighting the beauty of the maple hardwood.

The board and quality of craftsmanship is perfect. The professional packaging job alone speaks to the level of detail these folks show in their work product (it came in 3 or so layers of protection). The quality of wood chosen is solid and the laser cuts were spot on. Uploading and image was super easy too. I look forward to seeing what else they’ll design in the future.

Who We Are

We are Adam and Tony, veterans of the U.S. Military and Law Enforcement. We founded Live Oak Furniture Co in 2020 and began designing and crafting bespoke custom furniture in Houston, Texas.

In 2022 we were asked to create challenge coin holders for members of the Law Enforcement community. We treated each board as a unique tribute to the selfless service of the person we were making it for and wanted to incorporate as much personalization as possible. As we looked at our own coin collections, we shared the stories behind each coin and began to appreciate challenge coins in a new way.

    We embrace our unique stories and our goal is to provide a display that is as personalized as the collection of challenge coins that it will display. As veterans we make up a community. But that community is made up of individuals and individual stories, and we designed the Valor Board to reflect that.

    The American flag represents a bond of people, but each person should be honored as part of that bond.

  • What if I need a custom order?

    We love custom orders. One of our favorite challenges was a coin holder in the shape of a Navy Seabee dozer. We designed it and then crushed the challenge. The best part was the response from the customer, which is what we live for.
