Best customer service I could’ve asked for

I received a phone call within minutes of me placing the order they gave me for the purchase. Then they offered to come up with a couple different versions of the engraving and sent me proof to choose. This type of customer service I have not experienced in over a decade. And the board itself is beautiful and high-quality. I definitely will be recommending to friends and colleagues in the future!!

Who We Are

We are Adam and Tony, veterans of the U.S. Military and Law Enforcement. We founded Live Oak Furniture Co in 2020 and began designing and crafting bespoke custom furniture in Houston, Texas.

In 2022 we were asked to create challenge coin holders for members of the Law Enforcement community. We treated each board as a unique tribute to the selfless service of the person we were making it for and wanted to incorporate as much personalization as possible. As we looked at our own coin collections, we shared the stories behind each coin and began to appreciate challenge coins in a new way.

Where are Valor Boards made?

All of our products are made from our shop in Houston, Texas. When you buy a Valor Board, you are supporting a veteran owned, American small business.

What makes The Valor Board different?

We are woodworkers first. We apply the same principals that separate our furniture to our Valor Boards. That means we only source and use premium hardwoods, we create our Valor Boards to last for generations, and we care about the minor details and aesthetics.

We embrace our unique stories and our goal is to provide a display that is as personalized as the collection of challenge coins that it will display. As veterans we make up a community. But that community is made up of individuals and individual stories, and we designed the Valor Board to reflect that.

The American flag represents a bond of people, but each person should be honored as part of that bond.

What if I need a custom order?

We love custom orders at Live Oak Furniture Co. One of our favorite challenges was a coin holder in the shape of a Navy Seabee dozer. We designed it and then crushed the challenge. The best part was the response from the customer, which is what we live for.
